| In the NSTRA we compete in field trials to celebrate the natural hunting ability of our dogs and have some fun in sport with each other. While the details of how a field trial is run are available on the organization's national website: www.nstra.org we attempt to create a setting in which our dogs can as naturally as possible point and retrieve quail. While nothing can beat busting a covey out in the wild with your best bird dogs by your side, we sure have a lot of fun anyways!!!
